3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz Campari
1/4 oz Cointreau
Combine in a shaker with ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
What worked: This was quite nice, a bright and zesty drink. The bartender who invented this was told "You've just invented grapefruit juice!" and it does have some similarities in flavor and especially color (see below). Even people who don't like gin or Campari might well like this.
What didn't: I was pretty happy with it.
Will I make it again? It's gone into the cocktail book.
