Galen has been more snuggly at night lately. I want to encourage this, because I grew up with a cat that slept on my bed every night. I'm happy to have a cat to curl around while I sleep.

Unfortunately, about half the time he is laying on my chest. Which makes it much harder for me to sleep - both from the weight, and from not being able to move. I'd be much happier if he simply stretched out from my crotch to my knees.

Yeah. Mac has the talent of finding me while I'm lying on my back, usually awake - at which point, with a cat snuggling down between my legs, I cannot go to sleep. I just lie there. Sometimes for hours.

Slinky was an under-the-covers cuddler, and while neither Nef or Goldie has taken up that mantel, Nef is definitely a nightime cuddler. Most nights she ends up wedge as far up between my legs as she can get. This makes rolling over from my stomach to my back an incredibly difficult gymnastic feat.

I sleep under a minimum of three cats every night. They have trained me all too well not to move, or to roll over very slowly, even while asleep.
