Sick Transit
Nov. 27th, 2019 07:24 amI have two main options for my morning commute: a close bus to BART (which either gets me in early, or on time - but the second usually is only worth waiting for if I am running late); and walking seven minutes to take either a regular bus or the express version. Those two generally get me in right on time or a few minutes late, although they allow me more reading time. I mentally target the first, early option because I feel like I should set a good example.
I missed the close bus by about 30 seconds. Fine, I didn't actually expect to catch it this AM because I didn't sleep well and got up a bit late.
I missed the express bus by a couple minutes - I saw it go by before I turned the corner.
I missed the regular bus by about 30 seconds.
The next bus was 13 minutes out. I saw the second close bus go by while I waited.
