I had a double lap yesterday for about half an hour. It was adorable. Bea was flopped in my arms and Hilde was stretched across the edge of my lap. And the kittens stayed in the front room overnight - not locked in - which meant that any zooming and scrabbling was less audible in our bedroom. I slept well.

I'm relieved that the kittens seem to have reached an accommodation. No sign yet which one is the dominant, or if there will be one. It's only been a week since they've had significant interaction.

I haven't had multiple cats since I was a kid, and those two were adopted when I was two so I don't remember how they interacted. Intellectually I knew it was unlikely they wouldn't get along, but I was still worried. I didn't want to have to send either back...
