Turgid Drama of Work Time

I am exhausted today. I got to bed on time and slept okay - hard, but not badly. Just the second day of annual jet lag kicking in.

One side-effect of only going into the office every couple of weeks: my work shoes don't stay properly stretched for my feet. I am feeling pre-blister rubs on my heels, and this is a well-broken in pair of shoes. Fortunately there are Band-Aids in the office first aid kit.

I can't help laughing. This is my life when I switch my role from field work in steel toed boots to office work in girl shoes. I get blisters on both sides of the fence. I totally understand what you're talking about

I buy Rockports for my work shoes. They are generally pretty comfortable and usually wear in quickly... when I am wearing them at least once a week. Right now I am mostly wearing slippers.
