The downside to installing DSL - you have to put DSL filters on all the phones.

Galen decided that the filter underneath the dresser was the bestest thing, and needed to be played with.

All night long.

To make things better, he couldn't get under the dresser directly. He had to pull the bedroom door away from the wall, scamper behind the laundry hamper, then worm underneath. Waking us up in the process, every half hour or so.

We shot him with vinegar water, which helped - briefly.

Aargh.

Ah....nothing like the playfulness of a young cat. We occasionally have our thundering herd rampage through the house at night.....oh wait....thats just one cat that does that. She just sounds like a herd of rinoceros. The other one decides that she likes to be petted at 3 am. I tend to put her in the living room and shut the door when she goes through those phases.

It is so much easier to be able to crate the pups. Well one pup right now. The other is sleeping on the bed, and rarely wakes. Not much room on the bed now........Its gonna get really crowded if Sonny decides he wants to sleep there too....

For reasons I don't recall, although we have DSL, it's a separate line. Probably we're too far away from the node.

I expect if you rub a little chili oil on the filter, he'll stay away from it.

Chili Oil!

keeps my most curious cat away from a multitude of things...
especially the electrical cords!!! He doesn't even lick. Just the smell does the job.

Odd. When we had DSL we didn't have to have filters on the phones. On the other hand, the DSL folk took care of all that, so maybe they did something at the phone box ...?

It's tough with a baby at first, but eventually they sleep the night through.
