Oct. 6th, 2004 07:41 amThe wife threw her back out yesterday. She's okay - was told basically to take Aleve, use a heating pad, and rest. Not fun, but thankfully not that serious.
I feel tons better today. Amazing what getting 8+ hours of sleep does for your mood.

Date: 2004-10-06 08:55 am (UTC)It is amazing what GOOD sleep can do for one's attitude. <g> I am feeling rather grainy myself (cat barf at 3:30, after snapping awake from a dream where the alarm clock went off ... sheesh!).

Heat is bad until you get to the actual healing-up stage. Ice can work magic on a back, take it from me... it's no fun to endure, but the results are worth it.
