Good idea: because I didn't have time Saturday to make cheesecake as planned for Sunday, have a dessert of fresh strawberries with creme Anglaise (egg yolks, cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla). Creme Anglaise cooked sous vide is dead easy.
Bad idea: forget to add the vanilla. The texture was still silky and indulgent, but the flavor was meh. At least the strawberries were good.
