Yesterday during my physical therapy appointment, the guy was making small talk while stretching my shoulder. Upon learning that I work in finance, he asked me what advice I would give.

I was tempted to say "Never get involved in a land war in Asia," but sensibly refrained and instead replied "Max out your 401(k)."

Oh, I should reread The Princess Bride! It's been too long.

I was disappointed when I read the book. It didn't work as well as the movie did (I got very tired of his whinging about his wife and kid).

It certainly is one of the rare cases where an adaptation vastly improves upon the original! But I do like the pace of reading, and am willing to skip the bits I don't fancy.
