Early this morning I dreamed I was brushing my teeth in bed (while sitting upright). Galen was perched on the back of my neck and shoulders in cat-loaf position.
I needed to get out of bed to rinse my mouth out - in cartoon fashion, I was frothing like I had a case of rabies - but I knew that when I forced Galen to move, he'd be gone since he's no longer with us.

This reads as much sadder than it was in the dream.

How nice of Galen to visit in the dream, even if it was only to communicate "I know you need to be doing something important, but I need you to be right here, right now, for me, instead".
