There are occasionally days - when, despite getting up at 4 AM, the commute, the traffic and smog, the usual CA inanities and corporate stupidities - I go for a 5 minute walk to get lunch, it's a crisp, pleasant 60 degrees out and I'm walking along in my short-sleeved shirt, and I think "Gosh, I'm happy I live here."
