madbakerMiss Beatrice likes fake-fur blankets. We bought several: one for the end of the bed, one for behind our armchairs where she likes to snooze, one for laps in the armchairs.
We've been a bit too warm in bed so we made the ritual seasonal change of the flannel sheets for cotton. So of course I was a bit too cold and I unfolded the bed fake-fur blanket as an additional layer. And then Miss Bea came up and snoozed between us, against my shins, for several hours.
...Looks like we're keeping the fake-fur blanket unfolded as long as she spends part of the night on our bed. That's something we want to encourage.
I made the mistake of looking at past posts; today was the day we had to put Galen to sleep three years ago. He was almost 17, had as good a life as we could give him, and it was time. But I still miss the boy sometimes.
