Bonus Resolution Boozer

madbakerThis week's bonus Resolution Recipe: Verjuice Sidecar.
1 1/2 oz cognac or brandy
3/4 oz curacao
3/4 oz verjuice
1 spoon simple syrup
Mix all over ice, strain into coupes, drink.
What worked: It was pretty good and easy to drink.
What didn't: Not quite as bright as a classic sidecar, which makes sense since verjuice is lower acidity than lemon juice.
Will I make it again? When I have open verjuice that needs to be used up, sure.
