We finished s2 of Slow Horses last night and loved it. Spy thrillers aren't my usual bag, but this had several things going for it: Gary Oldman in the lead, absolutely disappearing into the role of a washed-up MI5 agent in charge of a holding pen for screwups; cracking writing; and only six episodes per season, which allows for development but no bloat. There is a season 3 in the works but we're not keeping Apple TV, so oh well.
