The brother-in-law was officially notified that his reserve unit will be called up early next year for duty in Iraq. He's attached to a Marine unit as a chaplain - so I don't think he even carries a gun.

We knew this was coming, but it's still weird.

IT is still weird -- I have too many friends still there.

If the journalists carry guns in this particular event, I'd bet the chaplains do. (sorry)

I sympathize: I felt the same way when my brother was sent to the Gulf in 91. It does not seem real.
