You missed a truly bizarre movie. I watched the first. It sucked. I didn't watch part 2 ... I wasted two hours of my life on the first that I'll never see again. Oh well. Even if you were unfamiliar with the books, the movie sucked. That says a lot.

I had, of course, read several people's posts on how bad it was, but nothing compares to the slamming of the author on her own work.

Pity TNT didn't get a crack at it. They did very well with Mists of Avalon.

Tarik watched a part of it and started to yell at the TV, "this isn't from the book"! Me, new to the SF world; I think I just stick to B5 for now...oh and any Far Scape I can get my hands on...

I started getting annoyed almost immediately ... Ged was too young at the beginning of the book to have a girlfriend ... sheesh. And he wasn't a surly teen. And that's for starters. <g>
