I'm glad it's over.

We had a good time, but it's always busy busy busy... a weekend-long SCA cocktail party, (mostly) without the cocktails. I was pretty wrecked on Sunday from post-event and -play fatigue.

The play went over pretty well. I'm still a bit sore from the poor posture and manic capering. The improv [livejournal.com profile] aimeric and I did wasn't our best, but at least it didn't fall flat. That's the risk of improv and why I don't want to do it all the time. This was loads of fun though, and I wouldn't mind more of this in a structured setting. Aimeric was tons of fun to play off, as well.

Amusingly enough, we ran into Their Majesties as we were walking out of breakfast in a local pub/British eatery with quite good food. I don't think they recognized us, but everyone was in street clothes so we didn't bow...

"local pub/British eatery"

I think we had dinner there on Friday night. Brother Oliver's, was it?

It was called the Fox and Goose, I think. It wasn't close to the hotel, but on our way home.

I didn't notice them at all! But, then again, I don't really know what the current King and Queen look like ( I never made it to court, given everything else that was going on.)
