scendan, 'cause it's a neat idea...
"I spend so much time bitching in my live journal, or reflecting on things that aren't going well, or might not go well, that I decided to do an entry that chronicles some of the cool things I've done or experienced in my life. They will not contain any disclaimers, like, "Well, this was actually dorky" or, "This didn't last very long" or, "That ended badly." I'm just listing cool stuff, and only in cool terms. Because it's good to do that sometimes. So there."

In my life, I have:
- Saw/heard the Vienna Boys' Choir perform High Mass, in Vienna, on Christmas Day.
- Been interviewed on national television. (Twice!) And quoted in several well-respected newspapers.
- Teared up because I was *this close* to a Shakespeare First Folio.
- Ridden a gondola in Venice.
- Told a story to a reasonably-well-known science fiction author, and have him remember it (and me) years later.
- Gone on a roller coaster ride because I was scared to do so.
- Posing as a native, given bad directions to an "Ugly American" tourist.
- Eaten at a four-star restaurant.
- Had a snowball fight in June.
- Cheered on the home team to win at a World Series game.
