madbakerTwo Feds stopped by yesterday. They only needed earpieces to complete the cliché - they had the dark suits and sunglasses down.
See, we’ve been receiving threatening IRS notices for a previous tenant. We’ve owned this place for two years so he moved at least three years ago. At first, we dutifully sent them back Return to Sender, Address Unknown. When that didn’t halt the mailings I tried calling the IRS customer service line, but they quickly told me to send them back and hung up before I could say it hadn’t worked. Now we just throw them away.
We haven’t opened them, but he must owe them a bunch of money if it prompted an actual visit to try tracking him down! Oh, and bonus points for correctly naming the source of the header.
