Car Talk (again)
Apr. 4th, 2005 12:09 pmWe've been looking more seriously into replacing the Saturn. So, rather than describe that process, I thought I'd sate some idle curiosity with a poll.

Unfortunately, it got shortened to "Hiney"!
As in, "Boy, your hiney's lookin' shiny today!"
LOL!

Date: 2005-04-05 12:20 am (UTC)..my first car was the Ghbeishmobile...
..my second was just a car although I pondered a name and sometimes called it Bonnie (because it was a Bonneville)...
..my third car was Forest and I miss him and shouldn't have traded him in..
..my fourth (and current) is just a cool old car I wanted and needs lots of care, but is FUN to drive. I call it the SVX, but then, that's what the manufacturer called it too. But then, it's a rare car, so maybe it doesn't need a name.
..and my current truck.. well she's Alice. Dunno why, but when we acquired her, it was obvious, perhaps because shes a 37 year old truck, but hey...
..oddly, the motorcycle never got a name, it's just reliable and old also...
I currently own 3 vehicles (Alice is my wife's and mine and she has her own car) ..my newest vehicle? A 1992 Subaru SVX. The next newest is my 1983 Honda Magna, and the oldest is Alice, that sweetheart, a 1968 Chevy 4x4 CST. She needs new rubber. *ahem* *snif*
..you know, for a guy who's not emotional about his cars...
