I'm going to see Revenge of the Sith next Thursday.
At a private screening. One of the brokers I deal with did this for the last several Harry Potter movies too.
I'm doing this not because I'm a huge fan. I was. My faith was tested severely by Ewoks and A Wookie Christmas. Then came "Ani" and Jar-Jar, and well... I gave up.
So why am I going to the early screening, if I'm not a fan?
Because I want to see the movie for completeness' sake.
The irony, of course, is that I know several people who would give their left nut/ovary for this opportunity. Me, I'm going because this way I don't actually have to give Lucas any money.

I'd rank it right after 'Empire' in a list of fave 'Star Wars' flicks. It starts great, ends great, and has great stuff sprinkled in between."?
On the plus side, there have a been a few other positive early reports, so while I'm not expecting a miracle, I at least think that I won't come out of a matinee thinking that I'd wasted my time and money. Maybe it'll be better than the Hitchhiker's movie, which I'd give a C+, but that's a whole other post...
