Abcess makes the heart grow fonder

The vet's diagnosis? Galen doesn't have an abcess. Yet. Just a lip infection - where he bit himself. I guess he ran into the wall, or something, and chowed on his own lip. We're putting him on a week of antibiotics to clear out all the nasty bacteria that come with a cat bite.

To quote the vet: "What a goofball."

Oh goodness the goofy baby.
I am reminded of the time Dexter (our Boxer) jabbed himself under his tounge with a stick and it got infected. At first the Vet thought it might be a tumor (it was the size of a pool ball) and he had to be sedated for them to drain it.

We were scared for a few days.

He is fine now and as fussy as ever.
