There's a reason I have this username...
Sep. 5th, 2003 09:09 amLast night I baked three batches of bread (one spelt, the rest wheat) for Bardic tomorrow. I have six more to do today. My shoulders will feel this!
...and I'm thinking that six might not be enough (it ends up as one loaf, approx 1.25 lbs) for 5 people. Yes, that's a reasonable amount, but when it comes out first with cheese people tend to eat more than they would otherwise.
Hurricane Galen hit last night.

Hurricane Galen hit last night.
He fell asleep around 8:30, and so he wanted to play at midnight. Whether we were up or not. I was repeatedly awakened by sounds of scrabbling - he tore into a paper bag, dashed from one end of the tub to the other repeatedly (getting quite damp in the process - weird), etc.
Dawn finally gave up, got up around 1 AM, and played with him for half an hour to get him to quiet down. I think that going forward, she's going to have to play with him before she comes to bed just to tire him out.

and ready to play while you're trying to sleep. It
didn't take me too long to figure out that Ms. A needed
to be woken up and played with to help her reverse her
day and night to a more sensible schedule.....
