The Giants game today was good, in that I was at the ballpark on a beautiful day rather than at work. The Giants sucked, losing 4-1. But I was on the club level, which is always nice; and had a couple free beers.

Shabala, the rookie in left field, dropped a routine pop fly, allowing a run to score. You think it's hot here? It's much hotter in Fresno. Pack your bags, you're headed back to AAA.

Let me know what you think of the book. I follow her blog (and am usually confused by it as I'm not into Star Wars and she's one of the SW authors).

I thought it was a better-than-average first novel. I'd read more of her books, but (like this one) I'll check them out from the library rather than buying them.
