I accidentally returned the book I was reading to the library. I was only 1/3 way through it.
Other people have hold requests on it, so I couldn't re-check it out.

Yes, my life is a seething mass of turgid drama.

What I'm reading: ...nothing. Le sigh.

Days like those are the ones I'm sure they are going to have to edit out of the movie of my life because the viewing audience won't be able to stand the excitement.

I just like the phrase "a seething mass of turgid drama".

It is an attractive phrase.

Ya know, I'm *good* with low drama ;-) .

Haha ... oh. Sorry. <g> That is funny, if you step back from it. Gotta be annoying, though.

Oh, I'm fully aware that realistically, this is pretty low on the annoyance scale. That's part of what makes it turgid drama.

Y'know, most people don't use the word "turgid."

OK, I do, when I'm referring to a uterus in an animal that is in estrus, but I also use words like "fractious" on a regular basis.

I figured you were aware of it. It is pretty funny ... in its weird way.
