The autocrat, who is on the other side of the country, posted the hotel reservation information this weekend.
While we were at an event.

We were planning to get a suite for my "half-life" party - I will have spent half my life in the SCA, and half of that as a Laurel - but the extremely limited number of suites were snapped up by people not at the event.

Having a party in a single room is a harder sell.

Damn.

Well, crap. And renting a suite without the SCA discount is prohibitively expensive. I wonder if Madame Autocrat could get the number of available suites increased?

Dunno. We'll probably keep calling, on the offchance that someone cancels their reservation and we can upgrade. But it seems unlikely...

Perhaps someone who got one of the suites is someone you know? Perhaps they might be willing to co-sponsor a party or somesuch?

Or possibly the hotel has connecting rooms, and you can use two rooms rather than just one?

Where is it happening anyway?
