Foodie name-dropping
Sep. 24th, 2005 12:01 pmOne of the nice things about being on such good terms with our CSA provider is the bennies: Julia set aside some strawberries for us today, and also told us to take as many (slightly blemished) peppers as we wanted to roast for tonight's dinner. Yum.
Then there's the schmoozing. In the past few months, while chatting with Julia and Andy at the San Francisco Farmers' market, we've talked to the head of Sonoma Slow Food; the head of Bay Area Slow Food; Santa Cruz Mountain Winery chef Andrew Cohen; and today, Traci Des Jardins of Jardiniere.
