I'm a Ramblin' Man
Jan. 19th, 2004 08:13 amYesterday the upstairs neighbors came home with a new cat. She's black, about eight pounds, medium-to-longish fur, quite social and inquisitive. She hadn't revealed her name as of last night.
A very nice addition to the household! Although we keep telling Galen not to worry, that a new arrival doesn't mean a new rival. And that we think he's cuter (of course). 8)
I have today off, as the markets are closed for MLK day. So why am I up and on the computer? 'Cause on a "normal" day, I'd have been at work for three hours already...
I did some yard work yesterday. The clover and grass was really too high for the push-mower, and the beds are generally too narrow. I think I mashed down more than I cut. I also think a Weedwhacker (TM) might work better. But I got something done, at least.
