Dec. 14th, 2004 06:37 amSoooo... I'm working from home today.
It's pretty cool, actually. I got up an hour later and didn't have to commute. I am fully dressed and shaved, though.
Our house has been designated a "Business Disaster Recovery Site" - which means that in an emergency a couple other locals would try to cram into our tiny place. It does mean that the company pays for DSL, which more than makes up for it in my book.
I'm glad this isn't a real disaster. I'm having problems working because one of the main applications decided it had to update... that was an hour ago and it's only 6.8% done. I suspect I won't be using it today. Also, the company-mandated firewall is preventing me from accessing network files.
Oh well, that's what these tests are for.
