Fud, glorious fud!

Wholly predictable baking frenzy - home for three days and trying to do a few special things. So we had sourdough English muffins Saturday morning, with crabcakes, lemon curd, and apple butter from a lovely over-stuffed basket courtesy of ldyicefire and spiderdust. Then cranberry-orange muffins yesterday AM.

Plus random noshing during the day: marinated feta, spiced almonds, and smoked trout from the aforementioned basket. Oh, and fruitcake that was astonishingly good! I'd eat it again - high praise from me for any sort of fruitcake.

Plus toffee that I'd... liberated from work. It would have gone bad, sitting out all weekend.

Off to the gym today after work. Along with half the Bay Area, I'm sure.
