Mar. 14th, 2005 08:21 amAnother downside to the computer frying: lack of keeping-up over the weekend. Sheesh, you people are prolific posters.
It sounds like we got lucky. The friendly not-so-neighborhood tech support guy put our hard disk in the freezer, and was able to recover most of the data to the new one. I should be able to pick it up today, and then I can e-mail again! As well as reading several webcomics that the work sniffer has deemed "unfriendly". I guess because of their graphics size; certainly they aren't work-unsafe in any other way I can determine.
What I'm reading: Neil Gaiman, Neverwhere - just watched the DVD while ironing yesterday.
