Wow... they won two in a row

The Giants game was good. They played good defense (despite the Michael Tucker suck) and won it. I was about 10 rows behind home plate.

And the broker was a reasonably good guy. I wouldn't hang out with him socially, but I didn't have to pretend to be interested in what he had to say.

Glad to have slept in this AM, though. Now to shower and take Galen in for yearly shots and a checkup (we think he is developing a gum abcess...)

Abcess makes the heart grow fonder

The vet's diagnosis? Galen doesn't have an abcess. Yet. Just a lip infection - where he bit himself. I guess he ran into the wall, or something, and chowed on his own lip. We're putting him on a week of antibiotics to clear out all the nasty bacteria that come with a cat bite.

To quote the vet: "What a goofball."
