Brian Sabean needs to be fired. Magowan, if you're going to attempt a Steinbrenner impersonation, you need to pay up for good players.
Note that I don't hate Barry Bonds. He's a jerk, but at least he's an honest jerk - unlike, say, Sammy Sosa who pretends to be a nice guy in public but is really a hypocritical jerk.
I just wish the Giants would use the $20 million for players of the future rather than a player of the past. This is what Sabes meant by the team getting younger?
