Galen ran into the study before we left Saturday for the cast party. We failed to notice and closed the door. So he was locked in there for about ten hours.

Fortunately, he doesn't appear to have used a makeshift litter box or otherwise expressed displeasure. Unfortunately, it also hasn't taught him anything about running into rooms that have closing doors.

I used almost all of my beef middles making a second attempt at Bologna Sausages. So far I'm pleased with them, but we'll see how they turn out after smoking and hanging. I ground the beef and pork, but chopped the back fat by hand and the texture is fabulous.
( No pistachios or kiddie lunch meat here. )
