Turgid Drama... With Soup!
Apr. 12th, 2011 07:38 amLast night I made a decent, if uninspiring, soup with chicken, parsley root, mustard greens and a number of other things. I served it out and we went to watch an episode of John Adams.
When I went back into the kitchen an hour later, the soup was still bubbling away on the still-on burner.
It didn't scorch, just reduced to the point of no broth.
