smart by cat standards, but still a cat

Every once in a while I am reminded that our cat has a brain the size of a walnut. This morning, he pushed the door open to the bathroom to get in. I mostly-closed it to get ready for work. He tried to push the door open from the other side, and was visibly frustrated that it didn't work.

This is also why our cabinets have magnetic seals. He would pull the handle open with his paw, go inside, and then not be able to get out because there was no handle to pull from the inside. Never mind that pushing with his head would have done the trick.
