(no subject)

I made myself sleep in (as much as I am able). We had delightful fluffy pancakes for breakfast with whipped cream and quince butter.
I have projects I have to start or finish (bacon smoking, bresaola cure) as well as other tasks like bill-paying, shopping for toilet paper, and such excitements.

But I really just want to curl up under the covers with a book.

(Oh well. I have forced myself to start the smoker, so onward!)
