Feb. 7th, 2020 08:19 amI'm a bit more worried about Galen. He's been sporadically yowling like he's in pain. Of course, it's hard to tell with cats as they usually hide that sort of thing.
It's been harder to get him to eat (more so than usual, I mean). He hasn't wanted to sit on my chest and groom me this week, although he still likes curling up on laps or knees or being held like a baby. Usually he grooms me several times per day but I'm wondering if the normal petting routine hurts.
We're going to monitor him very closely this weekend. We don't want him to go, but we don't want to prolong any suffering. He might not make it to his 17th birthday in April.
