The cross-country flight was as bad as it always is, without any knife-twisting bits such as crying children or delays leading to sitting on the tarmac for two hours. We were stuck in traffic for an hour and a half though, does that count?

The hotel room does not have a dresser. What kind of room does not have a dresser? I am here for four nights; I want a dresser to unpack into, dammit.

The last couple of hotels that I stayed in haven't had closets, just armoirs. I'm not sure which would be worse.
