madbakerI set off for dinner by myself, book in hand. I was waiting in the hotel lobby to talk to the concierge about directions (to a casual Italian place that I'd been recommended).
One of the people in my sales session yesterday saw me and invited me to come to dinner with them.
I guess I made a reasonable impression... it was actually quite a nice dinner, and the food was good too.
(And I can still go to that Italian place tomorrow night with my book.)
