The wife and I went to see Wallace and Gromit yesterday. It was fun. We caught an afternoon matinee, meaning that there were maybe a dozen people in the theater. Unfortunately, one of those was a crying child.
Still, it was worth seeing. Bits lagged, and the overall plot wasn't as taut as, say, Wrong Trousers. Although comparing a 90-minute film to a 15-minute short isn't really fair.
We'll probably buy the DVD, if only to freeze-frame to look at the background jokes.

Date: 2005-10-19 06:55 pm (UTC)I think I probably saw the "24 Carrot Gold" joke coming from about a mile and half away, but then that's about how far away we live from the theater too, so that might explain it. *smile*
I was really impressed with how much impact the music had to the whole thing though. That grand sounding stuff makes everything seem more exciting!
