Poor me

I went to Bix for dinner last night with a cow-orker and a broker. The guy is actually fairly personable. Dinner, of course, was lovely. Foie gras... steak with porcini mushrooms... Bananas Foster... the broker had the chicken hash, on my (via the fuzzy upstairs neighbor) recommendation, and enjoyed it immensely.

I passed on the dessert port that the other two ordered. It sounded good, but I knew that the sugar would keep me up all night. Instead, I slept well. I'm still full, though, and not eating breakfast.

oo! that looks lovely!!!!

my first thought was "i can take my sister and brother in law when I come for christmas" but then I looked at the menus and saw there was nothing for vegetarians.

oh well! I can still keep it on MY list ;)

I love restaurants like that. where food and atmosphere are equally important :).
