I am working from home this morning.
The company added encryption to our laptops, which is probably a good thing.
However, I have been trying to log on for the last hour and a half. This does not enhance my productivity.

This may sound like a question an irritating help desk person asks, so please forgive me -- are the clocks in your machine, your router, and the gateway at work all in synch?

Lots of encryption uses time of day for validating encryption, preventing replay attacks, and so on. It can be at #@$)(UFDLKER)$#)(*& if any of them are out of synch.
