Off to Nixon's Playground tomorrow

I fly out to Key Biscayne, Florida tomorrow for a work conference. It lasts all weekend.
Before you say "Oh, you poor dear, forced to sit on the beach in Miami" - this is a seriously in-depth conference and the last two years I didn't get outside the hotel except to and from the airport. I'm taking the laptop, but we'll see if I have time to use it.

Figures, don't it? I was lucky that the conference I went to in Orlando years ago actually included an evening at one of the Disney parks ... (I know, you don't like Disney, I do ...).

I hear you. I spend 4 days in Vegas, for the most part in darkened conference rooms. Frankly, the Vegas trip is becoming tolerable only for the traveling companions.

I think a root canal would be more fun then being that close to something wonderful like the beach in Miami and then told "NO TOUCH-IE"!!!

I hear you. I just spent three days in Philly and saw the airport, the hotel, and the conference room.
