I'm very glad we daytripped Coronet. The event was fine if small, due to weather. Geoffy-Matt made it to semis (the two people who killed him fought in finals, so he felt pretty good about that).

Afterwards, the usual suspects went out for dinner to a German restaurant that the fuzzy upstairs neighbor has been to a few times. The food was good, but service was glacial - they only had two elderly waitresses. We walked in the door around 7 PM and the entrees arrived around nine...

I did give the wife a card for our anniversary yesterday before we walked out the door.

I'm ailing today. Not quite sure why; maybe the second half of the intestinal bug that was bothering me earlier in the week. I'm not getting anything done today, but fortunately I can convalesce with little repercussion.

I've been to that restaurant once (it's walking distance from my house) and I had the same experience - frustratingly slow service (and when we went the food was just so-so, but I think it depends on what you order and I chose poorly).

Ah, we did miss you then -- by the time I'd changed and got back out to the parking lot, y'all had already left. So we finished loading up and headed home. Probably the better for it, though. My tummy was acting up on Saturday evening and it's just starting to settle down now. Hope you're feeling better!
