According to the Wall Street Journal, "there is no convincing empirical evidence that mental activity slows the rate of cognitive decline." In fact, people who had undergone memory training actually did worse later in life, presumably because higher performance meant they fell farther. I'll probably continue doing sudoku puzzles anyway, though.
The Giants' pitching can't hold a five-run lead. Okay, they pulled out a win anyway - but this is a bad sign.

That's why you forgot about the interplay between acids (such as lemon juice) and ferrous materials (such as cast iron pans).
