Galen's latest trick: in order to see something set up high, he will sit up on his hind legs and balance there, meerkat-style. I've seen him sit like that for ten minutes at a stretch. (No pun intended. Really.)

How much meer could a meerkat cat... oh, never mind.

In other news, I succumbed to temptation and ordered tickets for the A Mighty Wind tour. A bit (hack!) more expensive than I expected - inconvenience fees ran over $7 per ticket. What a scam. Oh well, at least we're going.

Mine does that too! Not quite as long as 10 minutes, but pretty darn often. She also nurses on t-shirts. They told me that was because she was separated from her mother too young (she was found in a paper bag in a garbage can), but she's 3 1/2 now, and she still does it.

So you may be stuck with a chin-licking meercat. :-)
