I managed to avoid bread-lung disease by growing up in California. My stint in the sourdough caverns is what gave me the persistent sinus infections, though - too much time snorting (snotting) the sourdough underground.

I miss sourdough. REAL sourdough. They have stuff up here that's labeled as such, but it's a pale imitation. My favourite recomembry of San Francisco was my dad taking us to where we could get fresh sourdough bread just out of the oven. The kind of bread you could make a meal of and not feel guilty.

Mmm... (drool) I'd break my stupid arthritis diet for real sourdough.

I hate to say it, but I've really been enjoying that strip. I know that the target audience is early 20's, but it is written well. It actually reminds me a lot of Queen of Wands. And, of course, it has lines like "Dude, betting on my love life is like putting $200 on a dachsund to win the Kentucky Derby"
