I had a blackout last night.
Jun. 30th, 2006 10:05 amThe wife put up some blackout material in the bedroom curtains yesterday, and also tacked it up on the glass-paned door. It was like sleeping in a cave. I'm still feeling tired today, but hopefully this will help me sleep more soundly, since it's still light when I go to bed right now.
The Giants game was pretty good yesterday. Schmidt was not great - he only gave up one run, but he threw a lot of pitches over only six innings, struck out only three, threw two wild pitches and a couple others that could have been, and hit a batter. But the Giants won, sweeping the Rangers. And it was with a broker in a luxury box. Granted, almost all the way over on the left field side, so not the best luxury box, but still free. And it was a good day to be at the ballpark instead of spending the whole day at work.
