Holy crap!

I got a surprise e-mail today. My Award of Arms scroll is done!
It's been a long, often frustrating time trying to get it done since it was awarded in Caid in April 1989. The joys of moving away from the kingdom where it was awarded - at one point, I was actually told that their scribal policy was not to do scrolls for people who moved out of kingdom. Fortunately, that changed fairly quickly. (Or something. I was later told that this was never policy. Whichever.)

Now I have to figure out how to get it - stella_nordica, are you going down south any time soon? Or maybe acanthusleaf is coming up to Twelfth Night...

After 16+ years, I may finally have a scroll to put on the wall!
